Camping at Landguard Nature Reserve is not permitted, to protect the natural environment and wildlife. Nature reserves are designated areas meant to conserve wildlife, plants, and natural habitats. it can negatively impact sensitive flora by flattening, breaking and suffocating plants and by disturbing the ground in which they grow.

Camping can also cause disturbances, littering, and other negative impacts on the ecosystem.
