About Landguard’s cafés, food & drink facilities & where to enjoy your picnic

On the harbour-side terrace… looking out onto the historic Fort’s inner parade ground… inside a rare Submarine Mining Establishment… binoculars in hand, by great panorama-windows... however you choose to enjoy your lunch, snack or coffee stop at Landguard you’ll be sure to get a sense of this very special Felixstowe place.

The View Point Café

Located right on the waterfront at the John Bradfield Viewing Area, this very accessible, family and dog-friendly café truly lives up to it’s name. The Haven and estuary views here are simply stunning and watching the passing boats or Port of Felixstowe cranes loading the mighty cargo ships is quite captivating.

Many will add the View Point Café’s all day breakfast to the menu of highlights too of course, but there’s plenty of choice from teas and delicious bakes to lunches, soup and snacks.
