Opening Times & Tickets
Landguard is a destination in its own right, comprising a wide range of attractions. It includes the impressive Grade 1 listed Landguard Fort and the fascinating Felixstowe Museum which both have seasonal opening times and make a charge for admission, with great value joint ticketing also available. Landguard Fort is also open for a number of popular ticketed events out-of-season.
LANDGUARD FORT
Landguard Fort tickets include a free audio tour around the site.
Tickets can either be booked in advance or purchased on arrival
Adults £8.50
Children (5-17 years) £5.00 – Children (under 5 years) Free
Concessions (Over 65 & Students with a Student ID Card) £7.80
Carers (assisting companions of disabled members or visitors) – Free
English Heritage Members, CADW, Historic Scotland and Manx National Heritage members with valid membership card – Free (unless ‘special event’ pricing applies)
Please note: Prices may be different for special events, and for some special events, English Heritage adult members will be charged £3.50 admission.

THE VIEW POINT CAFÉ
John Bradfield Viewing Area
The View Point includes a visitor centre with displays and videos, a 60 seater café and public toilets. Please note that the cafés are now cashless businesses, so payment is by card.
View Point Kiosk (located in car park) – Open summer season, subject to weather.
The View Point is located at the end of View Point Road, Felixstowe IP11 3TW. Please note that there are charges for parking at the viewing area adjacent to the café and other facilities.
The View Point Café – Open Daily 9am – 4pm
The Harwich Harbour Ferry – Daily Service April – Oct
Runs between Shotley – Harwich & Felixstowe hourly.
Departs directly from the beach near the View Point Cafe.
