Landguard Fort will come alive with music, creativity, and community spirit on Thursday 19 June, as local schools gather for a special Schools’ Gala Evening. Set within the atmospheric parade ground of this 400‑year‑old fortress, the event brings together pupils of all ages to showcase their talents in a truly unforgettable setting.

Families and visitors can expect an uplifting evening of performances — from choir pieces and instrumental ensembles to drama, dance, and spoken word — all celebrating the imagination and hard work of local young people. With Felixstowe Museum and the Landguard Nature Reserve just a stone’s throw away, the gala also shines a light on the wider Landguard Peninsula as a place where heritage, learning, and creativity meet.
