The fort is putting on its spookiest face this October! Bring the little ones for two evenings of gentle, family-friendly trick-or-treating through the atmospheric corridors of Landguard Fort — where our “fort phantoms” promise more giggles than screams.

What to expect:
– Explore the fort’s torch-lit passageways, transformed for the season
– Collect treats from our friendly costumed characters at every turn
– Strike a pose in our haunted photo corners
– Come in costume — the spookier (or cuter) the better!
Perfect for children aged 3–12, this is Halloween with the chills dialled right down — atmospheric, playful, and safe. Spaces are limited each evening, so don’t leave it too late to book.

Why Landguard Fort?
Landguard Fort, with its rich history and atmospheric setting, provides the perfect backdrop for a Halloween adventure. The event is designed to be child-friendly, held in the grounds of the fort ensuring that even the youngest visitors can enjoy the festivities in safety and without any scares that are too intense. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the spooky season with your little ones!
Safety First:
All children ( 3-12 years) must be accompanied by an adult, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. The event is carefully planned to cater to the recommended age group.
Younger or older children may attend at parent’s discretion, but please allow the recommended age group to enjoy the event.
Time Slots:
To ensure that your little monsters get as much spooky fun as possible we’ve created bookable half hour time slots starting at: 5pm, 5:30pm, 6pm, 6:30pm, 7pm and 7:30pm. Max. 50 children per time slot, adults no limit.
Event Photography:
Throughout the event, we may take photos and film short videos to share on our website and social media. We will always seek permission before using images or footage where someone can be clearly identified. If you would prefer not to be included in any photography or filming, please let a member of our team know when you arrive.
